Intermission Prologue I

2014
Single channel video
4.54 min.

Intermission Prologue I took two years to complete. Having been born from an intimate moment between the artist and his sister, the project reflects on memory as a confused and imperfect quality in the human psyche. The video, showing a woman walking along a desolate landscape, depicts a frozen moment in time in the creator's mind, in a way of remembering his family and how they evolve without him being physically present. The landscape is connected to the walker, showing both an interpretation of the artist’s vision on their relative’s emotions and the relationship between the two of them.
